It is my distinct honor and pleasure to welcome you to W. L. Bonner College. Whether you are a prospective student seeking direction, or simply exploring the richness of biblical education, we are delighted that you have taken this step toward discovery.
At W. L. Bonner College, we are committed to cultivating both the mind and the spirit. Our mission is to provide sound theological education, practical ministry training, and a transformative experience grounded in the truth of God’s Word. As it is written, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). Here, learning extends beyond the classroom—shaping character, deepening faith, and preparing individuals to serve with wisdom, compassion, and integrity.As a former Board Member of the W.L. Bonner College of seven years, and an instructor for eleven years, I have seen many students use this college as their launching pad to further their education pursuits and secure continual growth in their job pursuits, whether in ministry or in the secular community.
Founded upon the vision and legacy of Apostle William Lee Bonner, our institution stands as a testament to a life devoted to faith, leadership, and the advancement of biblical truth. We are honored to continue building upon that foundation as we equip the next generation of leaders.

Dr. Charles I. Pollock is a devoted servant-leader, pastor, educator, and retired chaplain whose life and ministry reflect a steadfast commitment to faith, family, and the advancement of the Kingdom of God. He has been married to his beloved wife, Cheryl Lynn Pollock, for 42 years. Together, they have built a legacy of faith and family through their children, Taylor (Breah) Pollock and Kymberly (Phillip) Robinson, and their three cherished grandchildren: Londyn Grace, Parker Graysen, and Phillip Jerome.
Dr. Pollock retired after serving 21 years as a Staff Chaplain, providing spiritual care, guidance, and compassionate leadership to countless individuals and families. He currently serves as the Pastor of Kingston Road Church, where he has faithfully led the congregation for 24 years with a focus on biblical teaching, spiritual growth, and community impact.
In addition to his pastoral leadership, Dr. Pollock serves as the District Elder of District Four for the South Carolina Upstate Diocese of the The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc.. He also serves as the Interim Dean and Provost of W. L. Bonner College, helping to guide and strengthen the institution’s academic and spiritual mission.
Dr. Pollock is a graduate of Eau Claire High School and earned an Associate degree in Marketing from Midlands Technical College. He later received both his Bachelor of Arts degree and Master’s degree in Bible and Missions from Columbia International University. Continuing his theological and ministerial studies, he earned both a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degree from Erskine Theological Seminary. His doctoral dissertation was entitled “Grounded in Faith and Open in Love,” reflecting his passion for biblically grounded ministry marked by compassion, unity, and love.
Through decades of ministry, education, and leadership, Dr. Charles I. Pollock continues to inspire and equip others through his unwavering dedication to God, the Church, and the community..
