Lauren was born and raised in the Upstate of South Carolina. Lauren is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While attending the University of South Carolina, she received the honor of Phi Beta Kappa. Lauren was a member of The Biological Honor Society, The Mighty Sound of the Southeast, and Tau Beta Sigma.
Lauren received her Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Lauren was a member of the Southeastern Environmental Law Journal, The IP Society, and Phi Delta Phi. Lauren focuses her practice areas on estate planning, elder law, special needs law, and business planning. Lauren has a passion for these areas of laws and loves helping her clients reach their goals, either with an estate plan or with their business.
Lauren is avid in making sure individuals are educated on estate planning. She enjoys speaking on estate planning and elder law at various senior centers or community events. Education on these areas of law are vital to making the best decisions. Lauren continues to learn more on these practice areas through continuing legal education and reading the latest publications on estate planning. Lauren is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Spartanburg, The SC Planned Giving Council, and Spartanburg Downtown Rotary.
When Lauren is not working at A Business Law Firm, LLC. She serves as an Adjunct Professor for The University of South Carolina Upstate teaching Business Law. In her free time, she enjoys watching Gamecock sporting events, spending time with her Jack Russell Terrier, or enjoying time with her family.
