Bishop Daryl Forehand is the son of James and Dora Forehand. He is the son in law of the late great Apostle Henry Ross. He has been married to Lady Kathy Ross Forehand for over 36 years. They have three sons Daryl Jr., Cedric, and Henry.
Bishop Forehand was born in Clermont, Florida, and he graduated from Clermont High School. He joined the United States Navy and was honorably discharged after four years as a Petty Officer Second Class. In 1983, he earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Engineering Technology. In 1986, he received an Associate of Arts degree in Systematic Theology and a Bachelor of Arts in Bible. In 2010, he earned a Master of Arts degree in Ministerial Leadership, and in 2020, a doctorate in Organizational Leadership and Educational Leadership. Bishop Forehand’s doctorate was conferred on him on September 30, 2020.
Bishop Forehand spent over 26 years as a Correctional Service Consultant with the Florida Department of Corrections. He was the President of the Police Athletic League in Lakeland, Florida. He was the Vice-President of Bishop Henry Ross Bible Institute, former Adjunct Professor at W. L. Bonner College and Polk Community College, former firearms instructor, former defensive tactics instructor, field training officer, marital counselor, and teacher.
Dr. Forehand has been a pastor for over 36 years and a Diocesan Bishop for more than a decade. Bishop Forehand served 12 years on the Board of Presbyters and currently serves as Recording Secretary to the Executive Secretary for the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Currently, Dr. Forehand serves as Interim Dean of the W. L. Bonner College.
